Functional Materials, Inc., which manufactures materials for the production of credit and identification cards, has moved into a new Research and Development facility in Congers, NY.
Congers, NY is approximately 1 hour north of New York City. Located near major highways, Functional Materials is within a 4 hour driving radius of the major markets of the Northeastern USA. Rockland County is home to many major corporate headquarters; local industrial neighbors include Teva Pharmaceuticals, Avon, Sharp, and Novartis. The local area offers the best of suburban living and a location within 15 minutes of “shopping heaven” (Three of the largest shopping malls in the Northeast).
Functional Materials’ 24,000 square ft (2,230 square meters) facility includes corporate offices, manufacturing space, warehousing capabilities, and a 2,500 square ft (232 square meters) research and development laboratory. The laboratory is equipped to simulate processes used in the manufacture of credit cards.
