NoLAM Laminates

NoLAM LIQUID LAMINATES
Solid and Liquid Laminates are well known methods of protecting graphics from the environment. The advent of radiation cured materials (UV and e-beam) have allowed high gloss liquid laminates to be routinely manufactured. Unfortunately UV crosslinked materials, in general, tend to be hard and brittle. When coated over typical materials used in credit or gift card production the liquid laminate causes the card to become brittle and subject to cracking. In addition these laminates cannot be personalized by the D2T2 printers typically used in the card industry.

NoLAM Liquid Laminates give a finish similar to a card laminated witrh PVC overlay film. The noLAM Liquid Laminate is personlisable by D2T2 printers and does not negatively impact the physical performance of the card body.
